Bowery Hotel - WiFi HotSpot

Until recently the only hotels in this neighborhood were flophouses. But these days New York's skid row is undergoing a renaissance. The Bowery Hotel is an upscale residence with a spacious lobby of dark wood paneling, faded tapestries, Moroccan tiles and iron lamps. There's plenty of comfortable seating on tasseled sofas but a power outlet requires some poking around in dark corners.

If the weather is nice try the large outdoor patio with wicker seating and hanging plants (pictured).
